Since january 2008, Derek Barras is project manager for venture kick. He is responsible for screening and preselecting projects, coordinating the program and following-up with startups that have received funding. He is also co-founder of KeyLemon SA, a start-up that develops software based on biometrics recognition technology. This company has recently been introduced in the Red Herring 100 Global Award. Derek has a degree in business administration with a major in entrepreneurship.
